Executive design
The project covered the requalification of the compound that houses the Italian General Consultate and the Italian Culture Institure in the Lindenthal neighborhood in Cologne, Germany.
The buildings created by Hanns Koerfer in 1953 have been managed by the local Historic Preservation Office (Baudenkmalschutz) since 1998.
Our project aimed at preserving the original architecture of the modernist buildings as well as of its materials.
We created 48 workstations within the Consular offices, and a library with 125 workstations and a 160-seat auditorium in the Italian Culture Institute.
