Technical direction during construction

The activity involved the technical management during the construction phase of the Security Systems for the Generali Tower, a skyscraper completed in 2018 in Milan, in the CityLife District. The Generali Tower reach a height of 177 m with 43 floors (+ 3 floors basement), and a total floor area of about 67,000 square metres. The building was designed by the architect Zaha Hadid and represents one of the new landmarks of the city of Milan. The intervention concerned the construction of the following installations: CCTV system, Intrusion Detection System, Access Control System, Intercom System, People Counting System, Security Supervision and Management System. The use of technologically advanced solutions and the management of a highly complex site are the distinctive aspects of the intervention: the Security Systems were built over a few months in parallel with the final phase of the work and this involved a high degree of complexity regarding site coordination and logistics.
