Integrated design, construction management and HSE coordination
The project covered a residential compound situated in Vimodrone and consisting of several adjacent buildings of different architectural value and dating back to different periods as a result of subsequent enlargements and renovations. We decided to preserve the facade which was the historic part of the building unlike other parts that resulted from subsequent alterations made over time starting in the postwar years. Our intervention consisted of a complex series of actions that combined restoration, structural consolidation, remodeling, demolition and construction. The two primary goals were to harmoniously emphasize the historic elements and to enhance the articulated layout of spaces also through the use of different color paints.
